Quality Control Process for Baby Sleeping Bags
Step 1: Incoming Material Inspection
Before work begins, upon delivery, all fabrics, fillings, zippers, and accessories are tested and checked for compliance using a fabric strength tester and color fastness machine. The key parameters are tensile strength ≥ 150N, color fastness grade ≥ 4, and fabric weight consistency. The raw materials and all related substances shall meet the requirements of CPSIA and REACH regulations.
Step 2: In-Process Quality Control
When cutting and sewing, dimensional measuring tools and stitch density testers are used to make sure that the size tolerance is within ±3mm and the stitch density is above 10 stitches per inch. The seams are also checked with a seam strength testing machine.
Step 3: Functional & Safety Testing
The finished products undergo various tests, including washing test (after a minimum of 10 wash cycles), zipper cycle testing (5,000 cycles), and flammability testing as per EN 14878 and ASTM F963.
Step 4: Final Inspection & Compliance
Every batch is subjected to AQL 2.5 inspection, checked for appearance, verified for packaging, and reviewed for labeling. All baby sleeping bags conform to EN 16781, CPSIA, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 requirements.
